From artwork to ready-to-wear. Author and scriptwriter, Enrico Colomboa created the label Printed Artworks to express his passion for music and cinema. Using advanced techniques, he prints images of his idols from the world of pop on his creations. From the Beatles to Audrey Hepburn, Pink Floyd, Blondie and Janis Joplin, he takes paintings by iconic artists such as Warhol, Basquiat and Lichtenstein and compiles them into garments that are as original as the artists who compose them. Each piece is apprehended as a painting, and declined on silk, cashmere or linen.
